The program was created in response to labor market needs – effective management requires an understanding of psychological mechanisms.
The studies are intended for individuals in managerial positions or preparing for such roles, for those running their own businesses, and for anyone interested in effective self-management and managing others in the business environment.
Psychology in Business (PWB) integrates knowledge at the intersection of two scientific disciplines: psychology and management. Its goal is to provide up-to-date, practical psychological knowledge and to develop the ability to apply it in the broad field of business. Students acquire knowledge, skills, and competences related to management, motivation, effective communication within teams and with the market environment, decision-making, identifying individual predispositions and limitations, solving individual, team, and organizational problems, as well as developing personal resources that support business effectiveness and the well-being of oneself and others in the company.
